Daldoss: rising from the ashes of World War II

Founded in 1945 at the close of World War II, Officine Meccaniche Daldoss rapidly transformed its small workshop into a highly competitive company

Officine Meccaniche Daldoss was established in 1945, following the end of the Second World War. The immediate success of its products quickly elevated the small initial workshop into a competitive firm capable of achieving a market-leading status in the lifts and freight lifts sector.

From Italy to the world, an evolving journey

Operating as a leading global enterprise means facing the international stage, assured in our ability to provide unmatched quality, deep expertise, and continuous innovation to the most demanding clients.

Day after day, Daldoss pursues this goal by cultivating a robust network of strategic partnerships. This effort serves a dual purpose: enhancing the corporate brand's recognition and actively promoting product sales across Italy and abroad. It is this forward-thinking "market vision" that allows Daldoss to succeed globally today, more than ever.

Lean Thinking
Identifying waste in order to eliminate it and produce with fewer resources. This is the concept that sums up “lean thinking” and that over the last few years Daldoss introduced to manage its production. It was a real cultural revolution that generated a clear added value for the company: an increase in productivity and lower lead times for products and stocks.
Environment and sustainability
Daldoss, always attentive to the environment, has installed two photovoltaic systems on the roofs of its warehouses capable of producing over 500,000 kilowatt hours per year, contributing significantly to the company's energy needs. This system will reduce the use of fuel oil and CO2 emissions, contributing to the Kyoto Protocol targets.
Daldoss Design
The adoption of new technologies to improve the environment and reduce energy consumption, both in our products and workplaces, is now an integral part of our approach. The owner's determination to give new impetus to our brand is embodied in “Daldoss Design”, our laboratory of ideas, which collects and protects all the innovative projects developed by the research and development team.
Daldoss Academy
The training and specialisation of our employees is essential to offer excellent services to customers. We believe in teamwork with our partners at all levels, providing them with the maximum added value to fully understand our products, technology and expertise. Daldoss aims to develop a true Academy by creating events and meetings for training and presentation of our products and services, not only to its own employees but also to its partners and distributors, both remotely and live using the spacious meeting room and showroom where it is possible to see and try out our products.
Daldoss Museum
The values of originality, inventiveness, resourcefulness and dedication, passed on by Corrado Daldoss to all employees, have remained constant over time. These concrete principles drove ideas, animated people and created resources and opportunities. To preserve the memory of these events and values, a small historical museum has been set up. This museum collects machinery, images and significant moments of the company's life, representing over 70 years of history. Thanks to innovation, creativity and commitment, Daldoss Elevetronic is today a solid reality, capable of manufacturing products that meet the needs of both national and international markets.
